As the Church of England in Cleadon Park, we conduct baptisms, weddings and funerals as well as gather for worship. We also do all sorts of things with young and old – every week, every month and each year. Find out more below.
What we do
Baptism is the start of a journey with God’s people, exploring and living his love. Do you want to follow Jesus too? Come along and say hello.
Congratulations! You’re welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are christened and whether or not you regularly go to church.
A funeral marks the close of an earthly life. It allows friends and family to express grief, give thanks for and celebrate lives as we commend them to God.
Bertie’s is our playgroup – space for babies, toddlers, carers and siblings to come along and hang out, with activities, songs and snacks.
Friends Together is our monthly afternoon of coffee, cake & chat. Most members are seniors who appreciate the company, but all are welcome.
At Messy Church, we hear a story and learn a song and a short prayer. Then we have fun with arts and crafts before we eat together. It’s great fun – for everyone!
